The selected contractor will be responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of the remodeling project. The scope of work will be separated into three (3) phases: Design, Planning, Implementation • PHASE 1 (DESIGN) 1. Conduct a physical assessment of the space to evaluate current conditions and provide cost-effective recommendations for maximizing space utilization in alignment with the City’s priorities. 2. Prepare and present three preliminary design concepts or diagrams, each designed to address the City’s goals for space optimization, functionality, and overall project objectives. 3. Upon approval of one schematic design by the City, the consultant will develop detailed design documents, including plans, sections, elevations, typical construction details, and system diagram layouts. The consultant will ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations, including requirements from government authorities and utility service providers. • PHASE 2 (PLANNING) 1. Identify and implement strategies to optimize the use of existing floor space and improve layout efficiency in alignment with the City’s priorities.
