• Install vending machines only in areas designated by the School Nutrition Department. Machines should be fully customizable for breakfast, lunch, or a combination of. • Machines should have POS interface that provides software support for vending applications and a wide range of reporting and alert capabilities. • Machines should have elevator bar that raises and then delivers the product without container getting damaged/opening at the bottom of machine. • Machines should be able to be customized to fit products in the exact packaging that School Nutrition Department will be using. • Provide a timer feature for vending machines that will lock items out by time so that items won’t be sold after a specific time. Timer should be able to be set for breakfast then changed to run for lunch period. • Respond in a timely manner to requests for repair or services. Provide training for vending machines. • Machines should be able to track all information for instant sales and profitability analysis. Provide automatic email alerts to notify managers of low-par inventory levels, out-of-stock conditions and give managers the capacity to print out exact pick list to restock machines.
