Contractor will perform a 100% annual testing and inspection of the three fire alarm systems and the six sprinkler systems on facility grounds as per the requirements of the State Fire Marshal. Additionally, the Contractor will also perform individual quarterly inspections of each of the three fire alarm systems and the six sprinkler systems on facility grounds four times per year. Upon completion of these test, the appropriate tag shall be placed in each fire alarm control panel indicating the system compliance and/or impairments. The Contractor will also supply a computer generated testing and inspection report detailing the results, hand written reports will not be acceptable. The report shall outline in detail, each individual device location, pass, or fail, sensitivity reading, and the name of the technicians performing the testing procedure. Annual sensitivity testing of all smoke & duct detectors will also be part of the 100% annual test. This sensitivity testing will be performed using testing equipment that is UL Listed for use on the system. The report generated from this testing shall indicate each detectors threshold readings and functional test results. An example of this report must accompany the bid. Any detectors that fail the sensitivity testing, or throughout the quarterly inspections will be replaced at no charge to the Agency as well as any associated labor for installation and re-testing.
