The Department of Conservation (Department) requires the services of a laboratory to provide geochemical analyses of geologic materials for inorganic constituents, including critical minerals. The laboratory shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and facilities required for the chemical analyses. The Department is pursuing a contract with a laboratory capable of running a wide range of analytical methods to address the entire range of potential mineral resources encountered in the state. Technical support and access to geochemical experts will be offered by the lab. This assistance will help CGS geologists in selecting suitable analytical packages and appropriately reporting analytical results to the public.
