Laura Lander Hall Vehicular Access Demolition a. Laura lander Hall has a “horseshoe” shaped vehicle access road. b. Demo and dispose of the existing perimeter concrete curb and asphalt c. Demo and dispose of the existing inner island concrete curb and asphalt d. Demo of existing subbase to a depth of at least 6 inches e. Procure, install, and ensure grade of topsoil to establish an elevation of surrounding lawn f. Procure and install Bermuda sod on all disturbed areas g. Construct approx. 117 linear ft. of 6-inch header curb along Willson Street. Install Stormwater Inlet Box on Lander Street a. Demo and disposal of existing storm water inlet b. Remove sufficient length of existing effluent pipe and cap / plug/ seal. c. Procure and install a new stormwater inlet box d. Make the necessary 12-inch HDPE piping connections and connect the new inlet box to the existing stormwater junction box as shown on project drawing C-400. Ensure proper grade and all piping joints / connections are sealed/ do not leak. e. Remove and re-install the granite curbing as necessary. f. Any asphalt disturbance will be repaired. Durst Avenue Vehicular Entrance / Exit a. Perform all necessary demolition and disposal of asphalt, subbase, concrete curb, etc...., as indicated on project drawing C-201. Topsoil to be stored onsite. b. Install 2 – 4-inch PVC conduit sleeves as indicated on project drawing C-400. c. Construct new concrete curb, asphalt, per project details on project drawing C-900. Ensure compliance will all SC DOT requirements and, to include the installation of the white and yellow thermoplastic. d. The civil design engineer, Heaner Design Group, is in the process of submitting the appropriate permitting applications.
