A. Collaborating Organizations Needed The title of the City's proposed Project is "Expanding Market Opportunities for Small- and Mid-Sized Agri-Food Businesses on O'ahu". The project aims to expand economic opportunities for small- and mid-sized local producers by strengthening value chains and increasing access to local markets The City is seeking to recruit eligible collaborating organizations in the following Roles: 1. Role #1: Value Chain Coordinator The Value Chain Coordinator will cultivate relationships, build trust, and strengthen connections between various actors across the local food system. This organization will help identify and address barriers to local sourcing, with the goal of improving supply chain efficiency and market access for small- and mid-sized producers. Key activities may include but are not limited to: - Hosting curated networking events, technical assistance sessions, and workshops. - Identifying procurement challenges and developing tools or strategies to overcome them. - Supporting data collection and reporting, assisting with procurement processes, and providing local food systems education to stakeholders.
