Materials 2.1. The sign shall be full matrix LED, capable of displaying variable height text with varying fonts, and graphic messages. 2.2. The sign board size requirements are as follows: large sign boards (width 136 inches 2.3. (+/- 5 inches) capable of displaying 3 lines of 18-inch-high letters with 8 characters per line; medium sign boards (width 96 inches+/- 4 inches) capable of displaying 3 lines of 12-inch-high letters with 8 characters per line. 2.4. The sign shall be capable of both wireless and wired communications. 2.5. The sign shall be capable of operating from seller provided solar DC power plant, and standby AC power to be provided by NHDOT. 2.6. The sign shall meet the requirements of NEMA TS 4 "Hardware Specifications for Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) With NTCIP Requirements" as it applies to LED DMS and the NTCIP 1203 v02 standard, as specified in this document.
