Provide the Town of Hamden and the Hamden Public Schools Department with an efficiently functioning school bus stop arm monitoring and enforcement program to enhance the safety of students while on and when boarding/deboarding Hamden Public School bus vehicles. The vendor should be able to equip the entire school bus fleet that transports Town public school children (approx. 79 vehicles). Proposals may also be submitted that provide for coverage of only a portion of the fleet, with the City reserving the right to determine the level of coverage it desires. The services to be provided should include provisions for securing and maintaining as statutorily required all electronic evidence/data collected by the monitoring cameras; as well as such other particular professional services as respondents deem appropriate for this engagement, including proper customer support and training.
