Remove existing (2) keypads and existing (2) key readers. Furnish and install new wiring, hardware, software, licensing and accessories, cabling and any other necessary components to provide functioning card reader system at all existing and new entry points indicated on the floorplan (total of 4 card readers). Install an electrified strike on all doors. Emergency override buttons should be installed next to each door and system should be on battery back-up. 1. The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to remove and replace the current security keypads and key fob reader with one (1) fob/card reader system with four (4) fob/card readers per the manufacturer’s specifications, and all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. 2. Provide system startup, test, and inspection to ensure systems operations. 3. Dispose of and haul away old security access keypads and all related trash and debris from the site. 4. Ensure all necessary precautions and procedures to prevent damage to the building and its components.
