TS-03 SCOPE OF WORK: This work involves replacing the fouled brackish water reverse osmosis membranes, cleaning all vessels on Trains B, C, D, and E, and installing all new brackish water reverse osmosis membranes in Trains B, C, D, and E. All work should follow and meet vessel and membrane manufacturer specifications and recommendations. Specifications: Vessel manufacture: Protec Pressure Vessels Membranes contained in Train B: 84 Membranes Membranes contained in Train C: 140 Membranes Membranes contained in Train D: 140 Membranes Membranes contained in Train E: 140 Membranes Total membranes for replacement: 504 Membranes Membrane Specifications: Active membrane Area: 400 ft2 (37m2 ) Permeate flow rate: 12,100 gpd (45.8 m3 /d) Stabilized Salt Rejection: 99.6 % Minimum Salt Rejection: 99.5 % Size: Length: 1,016 mm (40 in) Width: 201 mm (7.9) Membrane inner cavity: 29 mm (1.125 in) Operating Specifications: Maximum Operating pressure: 365 psi (2.5 MPa) Maximum Operating temperature: 45o C (113o F) Maximum Feedwater SDI (15 mins): 5.0 Maximum Chlorine concentration: <0.1 ppm Feed Water pH range, Continuous Operation 2-11 Feed Water pH range, Chemical Cleaning 1-13 Maximum Pressure Drop for each element: 15 psi (0.10 MPa) Maximum Pressure Drop per Vessel 50psi (0.34 MPa) The Contractor will be responsible for the safe disposal of old membranes. The Contractor will ensure that all the vessels are leak-free after installation. The Contractor will clean the membrane housing before the new membrane installations. The Contractor will follow all vessel manufacture (Protec) procedures for removing and installing the membranes.
