Fairland Maintenance Facility is currently soliciting bids for the Roadside Hand Mowing around Guardrails, Signs, Grass Islands, and Culverts with Small Mowing Equipment in Montgomery County, Maryland. The Routes include but are not limited to: MD 495, MD 28, US 29, US 29A, MD 97, MD 108, MD 182, MD 185, MD 185, MD 187, MD 188, MD 190, MD 191, MD 192, MD 193, MD 195, MD 198, MD 355, MD 396, MD 410, MD 547, MD 586, MD 320, MD 614, MD 650, MD 655. The total acreage for all routes is estimated at 472 acres. Basis of payment for this service shall be included in the costs and job functions of the crew. This Contract wilk be used as needed to support State Highway Administration mowing. Efforts during the 2025 Spring Mowing season. This contract is for the hand mowing of guardrails, signs, grass islands, and around culverts in medians and/or shoulders at the various locations in Montgomery County.
