FloridaSatNet is an interoperable Push-To-Talk Satellite network, developed and managed by SkyBase Communications. the network allows public safety users the ability to communicate, amongst themselves, along with other agencies throughout the State of Florida. TheFloridaSatNet Channels are offered exclusively by SkyBase Communications. DJ will have its own talk group as part of the service with enough active units along with the primary FloridaSatNet channels in addition the primary FloridaSatNet channel is monitored by the division of Emergency Management at the watch office this channel is designed as an emergency channel it is not intended for regular communication it allows responders to contact the state emergency operations center during or after an emergency top groups issued 2 DJ's are designed for regular communications.
