This solicitation is to establish a Maintenance Contract to provide Grounds Maintenance as specified for the Department of Veteran Affairs for an initial 1-year period; Vendor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the grounds maintenance service area. Approximately 17 acres, less buildings, parking lots, drives, and pond. Maintenance from March through October, with a total of 39 visits or as requested by the Facility. Maintenance from November through February will be on an as needed basis, as requested by facility. Agency estimates six visits for this time frame. Prior to mowing, pick up trash and debris from the grounds, including the parking lot and driveways. Mow with caution, using safe speeds that do not endanger residents or cause damage to the turf. Caution should be used to not leave tire marks on sidewalks.
