Specifications include, but are not limited to: The required services to be provided are electrical maintenance labor for the repair/replacement of all related and applicable services on an as-needed basis. Services to include comprehensive electrical evaluations, work on existing plant as well as new construction, locating services of buried lines, tracing and testing of circuits, and replacement of transformers as needed. Services to include labor and material for work related and any and all electrical systems ranging from 24V – 1200kV. Contractor shall be able to work on high voltage power lines and/or transformers. Contractor shall be required to own or have access to bucket trucks for high line services. Contractor shall be able to get supplies or location of supplies within a twenty-four (24) hour request from the facility if needed or have the ability to have the supplies overnighted, if requested. Contractor shall operate in accordance with OSHA safety standards. The Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, or their designee reserves the right to enact a work stoppage if an unsafe condition is observed and the contractor will need to be in compliance before work can progress. Contractor shall report the existence of unsafe condition(s) that will compromise the performance of the service to the Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager or designated HHSC representative, immediately. Contractor shall operate the business under a State of Texas Master Electrician license of an individual that is employed or has been contracted with to be the Responsible Master Electrician. The owner of the business may be the Responsible Master Electrician for the business.
