Materials and furnishings should include a wide variety of developmentally appropriate classroom material and furnishings that will enhance early childhood indoor and outdoor environments such as but not limited to: • Adaptive and Special Education equipment • Computer software • Art & crafts materials (Easel, canvas, paintbrushes, palettes, smocks, aprons, crayons, colored pencils, play dough, cookie cutters, etc.) • Dramatic Arts Materials (Dress-up clothes, costumes, playsets) • Early childhood curriculum & assessment materials • Early childhood furniture (cribs, cots, changing tables, organizers, feeding chairs, etc.) • Early childhood ESL instructional materials • Fine Motor Activities: Toys, interactive games, puzzles (blocks, figurines, beads) • First-aid, healthcare & safety supplies • Manipulatives • Math/ Science Activity Supplies (measuring tools, rulers, tapes, cups, clocks, kitchen timer, magnets, kaleidoscopes, etc.) • Music supplies (audio player, headphones, audiobooks, musical instruments - kazoo, tambourine, recorder, drums, toy piano) • Nap supplies, cots & mats, linens • Reading Area Materials: Books, DVD's • Rugs, carpets, mats, floor padding • Physical education equipment (Early childhood) • Ride-On, Push/Walk Behind Toys (Scooters, Tricycles, Walkers, etc.) • Stroller, Buggy • Toys, interactive games, puzzles
