Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services, One–Step Process for Springfield Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrades Scope of work includes upgrades to the existing treatment facility to replace outdated structures and equipment and to create redundancy in the system, while also designing and sizing to accommodate for a future average flow rate of 1.8 MGD with a peak rate of 5.4 MGD. In general, the upgrades to the facility include new Influent Pump Station, Headworks Screening and Grit System, Verticel biological process, Secondary Clarifier, new Return Activated Sludge (RAS) Pump Station, Drain Pump Station, Motor Control Center (MCC) Building, electrical and SCADA controls. Additionally, includes all site piping, grading, and paving.
