• Assessment & Hazard Identification Conduct an assessment of the Headquarters facility and work environments for staff who operate in the field and are not assigned to specific buildings, such as: o Meter services technicians o Construction inspectors o Engineers o Heavy equipment mechanics Identify relevant hazards, such as: o Wildfires, earthquakes, flooding, and winter storms o Power outages, gas leaks, and hazardous materials o Medical emergencies, workplace violence, suspicious activity o Public health emergencies and civil unrest • Plan Development Develop a new General District EAP that: o Covers both administrative and field-based staff not addressed by existing EAPs o Provides clear emergency procedures for evacuation, lockdown, shelter-inplace, and communication o Includes roles and responsibilities, accountability protocols, and recovery steps o Organized for ease of use, with maps, checklists, and contact lists as appendices
