The proposed project includes the reconstruction of Ficquette Road from south of Summerlake Park Blvd. to south of Ingelnook Drive. The existing 2-lane rural roadway will be improved to a 4-lane divided urban facility with a paved trail on one side and a sidewalk along the other side. The project includes a roundabout at the Summerlake Park Blvd intersection and traffic signals at Fire Station 44, New Independence Parkway and the Deputy Scott Pine Community Park entrance. Milling and resurfacing of the existing pavement north of Ingelnook Drive and along Summerlake Park Blvd is required to remove existing transition striping. improvements, including the construction of two ponds, are a part of this project.
