The City seeks professional engineering services from a qualified and experienced consulting firm to perform an engineering assessment of four existing potable water hydropneumatic pump stations. Such services shall include but not be limited to: coordination with City operations and City engineering staff; research/review of the record drawings and site conditions; conducting the required engineering calculations to determine the hydraulic capacity of the pumps; assessment of whether or not the existing piping/equipment configuration best provides the required flow rate for the served zone; development of a preliminary design report (PDR) to include recommendations regarding piping, standby engine generator incorporation, flow requirements, wildfire requirements necessary for the zone, as well as nearby agency (Southern California) similar improvement/regulations;
