The Office of State Procurement is soliciting Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide In-Person Interpretation, Over-the- Phone Interpretation (OPI), Video Remote Interpretation (VRI), and Document Translation, services for Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients for Using Governmental Units (UGUs). Interpreters are needed for the following areas, but are not limited to, court hearings, investigations, general services, healthcare professionals, emergency visits, classrooms settings and other programs. The purpose of this RFP is to provide the State of South Carolina’s UGUs a continuously available for In-Person, OPI, VRI, and document translation services to minimize or eliminate any language barrier. The State of South Carolina intends to award up to four (4) Offerors whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the State for each of the following Categories: In-Person Interpretation Over-the-Phone Interpretation Services (OPI) Video Remote Interpretation Services (VRI) Document Translation Services
