This project consists of the replacement of existing roofing and fascia boards. This project will generally consist of the removal of roofing and the installation of new 30-year dimensional shingles, new fascia board to match existing size and paint color. Including paying for all fees and permits, all labor, tools, equipment, transportation and services required to furnish and properly install all finishes as required, but not necessarily limited to supplying labor and materials, equipment necessary for the specific work as listed below. 1. Provide and install Architectural, large tab design, granule surfaced, self-sealing asphalt shingle with a strong fiberglass reinforced Micro Weave core and Stain Guard protection GAF/ELK 30 high-definition shingles or pre-approved equal. 2. Provide and install #15 roofing underlayment: Water repellent breather type cellulose fiber building paper. Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM D 4869 Type I. 3. Provide and install 24-gauge valley flashing and drip edge (rakes & eaves) prefinished color to match roofing. 4. Provide and install distinctive self-sealing hip and ridge cap shingle complementing the color of selected roof shingle. 5. Paint all existing roof vents and roof jacks to match new color of roofing. 6. Remove and replace existing fascia. Painting of facia to be done by Housing Authority. 7. The contractor shall be responsible for the protection of materials against damages until accepted by Owner. 8. Provide a unit cost to replace a full sheet of sheathing. Contractor shall request a roof inspection with Housing Authority staff to determine number of sheets to be replaced, if any.
