The Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Office for Facilities Support Services, on behalf of Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) desires to procure professional engineering services and an associated project team to accomplish a HVAC Upgrades in the LRC, Technical and Humanities Buildings on the OCTC Main Campus. Each of the building's HVAC will be converted to geothermal. The Main Campus has the land mass to establish the geothermal well fields. This is a continuation from Phase I where the Academic Building and Campus Center were converted to geothermal. This project was line itemed in the Budget of the Commonwealth as part of the Asset Preservation funding. The design of the upgrading of the HVAC system in the LRC building will be challenging and the consultant should understand the complexity of keeping this building somewhat operational during the upgrade work. The Consultant will be asked to evaluate all buildings listed and provide cost estimates for the necessary work. The final scope of the project will be determined during Phase A design of this project.
