The buyer agrees to purchase from the contractor its liquid polymer solution, to be transport delivered during the period of this contract; The product supplied will be Liquid Mannich Cationic Polyacrylamide. Dry or emulsion polymers will not be accepted. The contractor must be prequalified by the following methods: a) Vendor has supplied polymer to the EPD during the last eight (8) years. b) A new vendor must perform lab (bench) test at the EPD and plant trial of 500 gallons of their polymer to confirm their qualifications. The City will incur no cost for any testing and trial runs. c) Vendor is responsible for removal of all unused polymer within five (5) days after the trial date. The estimated quantity will be 10,000 – 15,000 gallons per month. The Contractor shall provide the necessary hoses and fittings that are required to pump the liquid polymer from the tanker truck to the plant’s storage tanks.
