27.1. Specifications for 8 inch, 12inch, and Transit LED Traffic Signal Ball Lamps and Arrows A. The minimum requirements for the LED traffic signal retrofit modules to be provided shall be in accordance with the current version of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) purchase specification for Vehicle Traffic Control Signal Heads - Light Emitting Diode (LED) Circular Signal Supplement for ball indications and the current version of Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) purchase specification for Vehicle Traffic Control Signal Heads – Light Emitting Diode (LED) for Vehicle Arrow Traffic Signal Supplement including Omni directional portion. B. A Certificate of Compliance of the above specifications shall accompany each shipment and will require serial numbers of modules covered by certificate. C. A copy of the lab test report from a reputable independent laboratory (e.g. Intertek) showing the light intensity values at each ITE specified distribution test point for each module supplied shall be included with the bid.
