A. On an as needed basis, prequalified firms selected from respondents to this RFP will be required to submit proposals for a defined scope of services that is needed by the University at that time. 1. If the proposal is acceptable to the University, the selected firm will be authorized to proceed with providing the services requested. B. The architect may be involved with projects from the initial phases, such as Feasibility, to the final phases of Construction Administration. Tasks the firm may perform include, but are not limited to: 1. Project meeting coordination and attendance. 2. Coordination and collaboration with other team members and sub-consultants. 3. Development of drawings to communicate design intent and requirements for construction. 4. Preparation of Opinions of Probable Cost. 5. Coordination of the permitting process including preparation of application materials. Please note in the proposal if the firm has direct experience working with DCA and 3rd party verification services. 6. Bidding and Construction Administration services, including preparation of bid packages, responding to RFIs, review of shop drawings, construction observation, preparation of field reports, and preparation of punch lists. 7. Coordinate efforts with other University vendors which may include, but are not limited to, building security, audio visual services and furniture design. C. Deliverables the engineer may be asked produce include, but are not limited to: 1. Meeting notes 2. Project schedule 3. Material required for permitting 4. Illustrative Drawings 5. Schematic Drawings 6. Design Development and Construction Drawings, including: demolition, protection, structural, dimensions, materials, utilities, HVAC, IT, security, audio visual, lighting, and related details 7. Technical Specifications 8. Opinions of Probable Cost.
