MDOT Reg 2 Floor Refinishing - Edgecomb, Washington, Richmond, China and Searsport; All work must be scheduled minimally four weeks in advance and must be completed by the end of the scheduled month. First services will be scheduled for November 2025. Overview • Provider to provide stripping, scrubbing, and the re-coating floor services for the Crew Quarters. • In the Spring, (May) floors will be scrubbed, (no stripping) and two (2) coats of finish applied to all areas, offices, and both restrooms and storage areas, if open. • In the Fall (November) floors will be stripped, scrubbed and four (4) coats of finished to be applied to all areas, offices, and both restrooms and storage areas, if open. • MaineDOT will make every attempt to have everything up off the floor and put away tables and chairs that may need to be moved. • Access will be given over the weekend starting Friday evening after 7pm or unless another agreed time is made. All work should be completed by Sunday at midnight to allow drying time. • A contact person will be available for any problems that may arise while on site.
