1. Pre-Move Planning & Coordination o Conduct a site visit at each location to assess moving requirements. o Develop a comprehensive moving plan and timeline in coordination with DCSD personnel. I. Timeframe: June 16-24 (7 days) II. St. Johns Elementary 100 rooms/spaces (15-25 boxes per space) III. Rosenwald Elementary 35 rooms/spaces (15-25 boxes per space) o Labeling and organizing items for efficient relocation. 2. Packing and Protection of Assets o Provide packing materials, including boxes, crates, labels, and protective wrapping. o Ensure safe handling and packing of classroom materials, office equipment, library books, technology, and miscellaneous items. o Protect walls, floors, and doorways to prevent damage during the move. 3. Transportation & Logistics o Provide an adequate number of trucks and personnel to complete the move within the agreed timeline. o Securely transport items between locations with minimal disruption to school operations. 4. Unloading & Placement o Unload and place items in designated locations at the new elementary school as directed by DCSD. o Assemble and arrange furniture, shelving, and other large items as needed. 5. Post-Move Cleanup & Debris Removal o Remove all moving debris and packing materials. o Conduct a final walkthrough with DCSD personnel to ensure all items are accounted for and properly placed.
