The Scope of work is to include, but not be limited to, furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the Okeechobee County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to assist the County with Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal Services. The objective of the RFP and subsequent contracting activity is to secure the services of an experienced contractor(s) who is capable of efficiently removing large volumes of disaster generated debris from a large area in a timely and cost-effective manner and lawfully disposing of all debris according to FEMA regulations. The successful proposer(s) (CONTRACTOR) must be capable of assembling, directing, and managing a work force that can successfully complete the debris removal and disposal operations according to all applicable rules and regulations. Contractors will need to ensure sufficient hauling trucks, and loading equipment are available at each storm event.
