The professional real estate services will include “appraisal” and “appraisal services” primarily focusing on the preparation of “appraisal reports”, as those terms are defined in Section 475.611, Florida Statutes (2019). Such services will be provided on an as-needed basis for the County’s acquisition and disposition of residential and commercial real property interests including, but not limited to, eminent domain acquisitions, surplus land dispositions, and purchases and sales for County parks, conservation areas, and facilities. The appraisal services may also include appraisal review as that term is defined in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). All such services shall be performed in accordance with USPAP and Chapter 475, Florida Statutes, and shall meet or exceed the minimum requirements of the Appraisal Institute.
