Inspect, clean, lubricate, & exercise component parts of ATS Inspect Panelboard Perform thorough inspection of all components, engine, generator control panel Vacuum interior of switchgear. Check interior for moisture & condensation build-up or signs of pervious wetness. Inspect switchgear for overall signs of overheating. Check for signs of rodent nesting. Check devices visibly for worn-out, cracked, or missing parts. Open and close circuit breakers to verify they work properly. Verify all key interlocks and door interlocking provisions are working Check bus bar joints and terminal lugs for pitting or corrosion. Inspect all insulating material for visible damage. Inspect traveling lifter for wear and lubricate all points of friction. Replace oil and oil filters, replace coolant and filters, replace all air and fuel filters. Visually inspect each unit; make necessary adjustments per manufacturers specifications; procure, submit and report on generators oil sample; check all belts, hoses, radiators, heat exchangers; check battery, charger, and cable condition; check exhaust system; check governor for proper operation; check all block heaters for proper operation; check and record voltage and current readings; test functionality of transfer switch, 10 second starting/ on-line capability; check access lighting and repair as needed.
