The Virginia Department of Transportation, herein referred to as “VDOT”, is soliciting bids from qualified firms, to provide on-call rental of equipment with experienced operators, skilled laborers, and foreman, to work independent of or to supplement VDOT forces, to perform various bridge maintenance projects. Work will be performed on Primary, Secondary and Interstate routes throughout the Salem District which includes the counties of Montgomery, Floyd, Giles, Pulaski, Henry, Patrick, Carroll, Roanoke, Botetourt, Craig, Bedford & Franklin. Interstate routes to include 81, 581 & 77 and the adjoining routes within the Salem District maintained by the Interstate Maintenance Group. The request for services will be on an asneeded basis.
