The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract(s) with qualified contractor(s) to provide boat maintenance, repair, and storage services for the HCS Floating Classroom on an as-needed basis. The Floating Classroom is a 2008 Gibson Model 5900 as detailed below. For each renewal period, fees may be increased with any such increase limited to the lesser of (a) the percentage change in the current Consumer Price Index for all urban customers (CPI-U) or (b) three percent (3%). The contractor shall be responsible for notifying HCS, in writing, thirty (30) days prior to the renewal date for any increases for each renewal period. HCS reserves the right to award multiple contracts should it be determined by HCS in its sole discretion to be in the best interest of HCS. The contractor(s) shall provide estimates to HCS for each requested service as needed. HCS shall approve all work before contractor(s) begin any repairs, maintenance, storage, or hauling.
