I. SCOPE OF WORK The following requirements must be met for the purpose of this RFP: A. General Requirements 1. The University Glassboro location requires bulk delivery of automotive Middle-Grade Unleaded 89 Octane gasoline to one (1) 1000-gallon tank and Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuel delivered to one (1) 500-gallon tank. 2. The awarded vendor(s) is required to satisfy delivery requests within 24 hours of request. Emergency deliveries requests are required to be delivered within 4 hours of request. Vendor must be available to provide delivery seven (7) days per week, including holidays. B. Gasoline Specifications 1. All gasoline supplied under this contract shall be a minimum of 89-octane and contain a maximum of ten percent (10) ethanol. Gasoline supplied under this contract shall comply with the requirements of Federal Specifications for Gasoline, Automotive VV-G-1690C, and any amendments thereto, ASTM D4814 REV B: Standard Specification for Automotive Spark-Ignition Engine Fuel and any amendments thereto, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection “Control & Prohibition of Air Pollution by Vehicular Fuel”, NJAC Title 7, Chapter 27. If any of the applicable specification, standards, regulations, etc. are updated/revised during the term of the contract; the contractor must conform to the latest revision. C. Diesel Specifications 1. The diesel fuel shall be all purpose ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel oil intended for use in all types of diesel engines under all normal conditions of service. The diesel fuel shall comply with ASTM D-975, Grade No.1-D S15-A special-purpose, light middle distillate fuel for use in diesel engine applications requiring a fuel with 15 ppm sulfur (maximum) and higher volatility than that provided by Grade No, 2-D S15 fuel, with a cetane rating range of 40 to 45. 2. All oil tanker drivers are required to stay with their trucks during the entire fuel unloading process. D. Quantities 1. No minimum quantity is guaranteed. E. Deliveries 1. The diesel fuel shall be all purpose ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel oil intended for use in all types of diesel engines under all normal conditions of service. The diesel fuel shall comply with ASTM D-975, Grade No.1-D S15-A special-purpose, light middle distillate fuel for use in diesel engine applications requiring a fuel with 15 ppm sulfur (maximum) and higher volatility than that provided by Grade No, 2-D S15 fuel, with a cetane rating range of 40 to 45.
