Automatic Passenger Counters (APC) System This Scope of Work outlines the responsibilities and deliverables related to the purchase, installation, and support of an Automatic Passenger Counter (APC) system. 1. Equipment Supply • Provide APC devices for designated transit vehicles. • Include all related hardware, wiring harnesses, connectors, and required accessories or supplies necessary for full functionality. 2. Software and Reporting • Provide APC software subscription, including a reporting module. • Ensure the software supports real-time data access, GPS-based route tracking, and passenger counting integration. 3. Installation and Testing • Perform complete installation of all APC equipment and related components. • Conduct system setup, calibration, and comprehensive functional testing to ensure proper operation. 4. Software Configuration and Support • Set up and configure APC software for agency use. • Provide initial support to ensure proper software operation and connectivity. 5. Training • Deliver training for relevant staff on system operation, reporting tools, and troubleshooting procedures. 6. System Reporting Features • Ensure system generates reports that include: o Passenger boarding and alighting data o GPS location mapping o Time-stamped trip data for analysis 7. Maintenance and Support • Provide at least two (2) years of maintenance and technical support for all APC hardware and software components.
