Specifications include, but are not limited to: Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is soliciting bids for five (5) enclosed boat storage spaces of approximately twenty-eight hundred (2,800) total square feet, located within five (5) air miles of Aransas Pass, Texas, for quick access to the local bays for emergency response. Storage space shall meet or exceed the following: A. Five (5) enclosed garage-style boat storage spaces, each with the following: 1) Approximately five hundred sixty (560) square feet each space. 2) Minimum ceiling height of fourteen (14) feet. 3) Minimum width of fourteen (14) feet. 4) Minimum depth of forty (40) feet. 5) Each storage space shall be equipped with one (1) garage-style rollup door to meet the following: a. Minimum height of fourteen (14) feet b. Minimum width of twelve (12) feet. 6) All spaces shall be adjacent to each other. 7) Each storage space shall have a minimum of one (1) overhead light per area to promote a safe working environment. 8) Shall not be susceptible to flooding in severe weather conditions 9) Dimensions are to ensure clearance of vessels when backed into facility. B. Enclosed space shall have a minimum of one (1) 120-volt power outlet. Storage space must have electrical wiring of adequate amperage capable of simultaneously powering overhead lights and power outlets running small hand tools, shop fan, etc. Flooring shall consist of concrete capable of supporting heavy vehicles, boats, trailers, and equipment. Driveway and apron shall consist of all-weather material capable of supporting heavy vehicles and trailers in wet weather conditions to accommodate ingress and egress of vessels ten (10) feet wide x thirty-two (32) feet long x fourteen (14) high. Access to a close freshwater hose bib with adequate pressure for washing down vessels, vehicles, equipment, and other related needs within the apron and driveway areas.
