3.1.1 CHASSIS 3.1.1.1 The 4X2 chassis for this vehicle shall be Ford T350 Transit Van high roof, or equivalent make and model. 3.1.1.2 Under coating per OEM guidelines. 3.1.2 DIMENSION 3.1.2.1 Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) ≥9000 pounds 3.1.2.2 Total Length: 240-inches, maximum 3.1.2.3 Total Width (mirror to mirror): 98-inches, maximum 3.1.2.4 Total Height:110-inches, maximum 3.1.2.5 Cargo Height (distance from floor to ceiling in patient area): 72-inches, minimum 3.1.2.6 Wheelbase: 148-inches, maximum 3.1.3 ENGINE The vehicle shall have a gasoline-fueled engine. Engine shall be CARB certified and shall meet current emission requirements. 3.1.4 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The electrical system shall be free of defects and shall also meet the following requirements: 3.1.4.1 Easy access Power Distribution overhead 3.1.4.2 Two (2) RG8X antenna cable pre-wire (with no spliced wire) 3.1.4.3 Console that hold switch panel, siren, and radio heads 3.1.4.4 Luminescent backlighting for switch panel and indicators 3.1.4.5 12-Volt DC outlet prewired for inverter with charger. Inverter with charger shall be provided. 3.1.4.6 110V Hospital Grade Duplex Outlets 3.1.4.7 USB port: VSS-USB (or equivalent) dual port charging module 3.1.5 SUSPENSION SYSTEM The front and rear springs shall have ground load rating equivalent to or exceeding the GVWR of the vehicle. 3.1.6 TRANSMISSION The vehicle shall be equipped with manufacturer’s standard automatic transmission. 3.1.7 TIRES All tires shall be OEM (Cargo Van/Chassis). 3.1.8 FUEL TANK Capacity: 24 gallons, minimum 3.1.9 AIR CONDITIONING The vehicle shall have a factory-installed, multi speed heater, air conditioning, and windshield defroster. The system shall be equipped with fresh air ventilators or combination of fresh-air and recirculating ventilation system. The vehicle shall include and fully function multi-speed ceiling vented HVAC system in the rear cargo area. Control shall also be provided in action area. Vents may be located on street side wall between overhead cabinets and the lower main cabinets or at manufacturer’s standard location.
