The City’s Community Services Department (CSD), operates a variety of events throughout the year. These events include, but are not limited to, the Race to the Runway Marathon, Concerts in the Park, Spring Celebration, Independence Day Celebration, Halloween Carnival and the Buckeye Air Fair. Events will be hosted on various days and times throughout the year and at various locations in Buckeye. The Buckeye Air Fair is the largest of the events held in Buckeye and occurs on an annual basis in mid-February over President’s Day weekend. In 2026, the event will be held on Friday, February 13, Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15 and is located at the Buckeye Airport – 3000 S. Palo Verde Rd. In 2025, the Buckeye Municipal Airport played host to 36,000 people who attended the three-day event. The event hosts air shows with aerobatic, parachute, and formation demonstrations, food vendors, kid’s zone (carnival rides, slides, bounce houses), aviation academy held in partnership with Arizona SciTech, which allows students in grades 5-12 experience STEAM through interactive and hands on activities.
