The City of Albuquerque, Department of Health, Housing, and Homelessness (DHHH) is hereby seeking qualified, not-for-profit organizations to administer Continuum of Care Rapid Rehousing Program using a housing first approach. CoC Rapid Rehousing (RRH) is designed to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness to transition into permanent housing. RRH is a rental assistance and supportive services that help households experiencing homelessness or at high risk of homelessness obtain and maintain housing. Sub-recipients that are selected for the CoC RRH Program are expected to implement a plan where participants will receive rental assistance while receiving case management services for up to 2 years, with the purpose of leading people to become self-sufficient and maintain housing on their own. Self-sufficiency in participants of program is expected to occur at the exit from program. Including obtaining permanent housing, employment and skills necessary to maintain stability and independence. RRH can be scattered site, that is, that households select their own apartment from the private rental market.
