Must be a licensed business within the state of Connecticut, with a minimum of ten (10) year of experience, in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of fire apparatus, and employ Emergency Vehicle Technicians (EVT) and/or be a factory authorized dealer/repair facility of fire apparatus. A copy of licenses must be uploaded in the Questionnaire Section. Must be located within the State of Connecticut within (75) driving miles of the City of Shelton. Must be having a repair facility large enough to accommodate large apparatus such as tower platform trucks; ladder trucks, pumpers, and rescues. Must have latest revisions of diagnostic programs for as and diesel engines and associated electronics, sensors, and computers. Shall provide list of diagnostic software for review. Must be capable of providing "on-site" services as requested. Repair facility must include inside storage of vehicles while at the facility for work being performed during cold/inclement weather conditions for Shelton Fire Dept apparatus/vehicles. Vendor to supply written reports and invoices with repairs conducted, and itemized for work completed to Shelton Fire Department, ATT: Fire Chief, 54 Hill Street, Shelton, CT 06484. Electronic reports may also be requested. Vendor must have the ability to maintain a professional relationship, and work with Fire Chief and designees of the Shelton Fire Department in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of apparatus.
