All vendors must have flexibility to accommodate emergency inspections or expedited reviews when necessary. All vendors shall provide their own vehicles, devices, and technology to complete contracted scope of work. At the completion of all scheduled inspections, the vendor shall provide the Village an electronic notification of the inspection results by close of business day. The responsibilities of the vendors listed by discipline below include, but are not limited to: Building Plan Review and Inspection Services The selected vendor for building plan review and inspection services will work collaboratively with Village staff to facilitate interdepartmental reviews and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. Village staff will schedule all inspections. Vendor will perform on-site inspections and provide feedback and updates to Village staff in a prompt manner. The Village does not have a licensed plumbing inspector on staff. All plumbing inspections will be performed by Vendor. All other building inspections are performed on an as needed basis. Structural Engineering Plan Review and Inspection Services The structural engineering vendor conducts thorough structural reviews and inspections. The vendor will advise on the comprehensive structural integrity, safety, and compliance of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Village staff will schedule all inspections. Fire and Life Safety Plan Review and Inspection Services The selected fire and life safety vendor will conduct detailed fire safety plan reviews and on-site inspections. Inspections include fire protection systems, suppression equipment, and life safety. Village staff will schedule all inspections.
