There are approximately 15 or less abandoned structures to be deconstructed and removed from the parcel of land in 2025. Removal and hauling will begin after May 16, 2025, and continue until the end of the calendar year. Dates of hauling will be coordinated with SRMT Environment Division Project Manager as he will provide a weekly schedule for each site. The schedule will be based on excavator availability and each site will typically take 2-3 days. Debris will be loaded into the dump truck by SRMT staff and the vendor will responsible for disposal at the SRMT Transfer Station in Fort Covington, NY or County of Franklin Solid Waste Management Authority Transfer Station in Constable, NY. Driver must sign the ticket for tipping fee at the SRMT Transfer Station or the paper work for CFSWMA. Driver will return back to site until all construction debris has been removed and proceed to next site if within the 8-hour day. The winning bidder will provide two tandem axel dump trucks and drivers who are qualified and certified to drive and operate the dump trucks for 8-hour days. Vendor must have valid permit to haul contaminated soils. Additionally, the winning bidder must apply for a 2025 Solid Waste Hauler Permit with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribes Compliance department and comply with any other Tribal requirements under the Solid Waste Management Code (TCR 2020-09).
