The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to perform emergency roadway clearing and debris removal services on interstate, primary and secondary roadways on an “as-needed” basis in Page and Rockingham Counties located in the Harrisonburg Residency and Clarke, Frederick, Shenandoah, and Warren Counties located in the Edinburg Residency of the Staunton District in accordance with the specifications contained herein. VDOT reserves the right to make multiple awards on a Lot Total basis for each county separately to all responsive and responsible bids determined to be fair and reasonable. The twelve (12) lots are identified as follows: Lot 1 - Page County – Emergency Roadway Clearing & Debris Removal – Payment by the Hour; Lot 2 - Page County – Debris Removal – Payment by the Cubic Yard; Lot 3 - Rockingham County – Emergency Roadway Clearing & Debris Removal - Payment by the Hour; Lot 4 - Rockingham County – Debris Removal - Payment by the Cubic Yard; Lot 5 - Clarke County – Emergency Roadway Clearing & Debris Removal - Payment by the Hour; Lot 6 - Clarke County – Debris Removal - Payment by the Cubic Yard; Lot 7 - Frederick County – Emergency Roadway Clearing & Debris Removal - Payment by the Hour; Lot 8 - Frederick County – Debris Removal – Payment by the Cubic Yard; Lot 9 - Shenandoah County – Emergency Roadway Clearing & Debris Removal - Payment by the Hour; Lot 10 - Shenandoah County – Debris Removal – Payment by the Cubic Yard; Lot 11 - Warren County – Emergency Roadway Clearing & Debris Removal - Payment by the Hour; Lot 12 - Warren County – Debris Removal – Payment by the Cubic Yard; Contractors may bid on more than one (1) lot; however, Contractors must have the capacity to perform services for each lot they are awarded.
