PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Menifee, hereinafter referred to as the Agency, invites sealed bids for the above-stated Project up to the time of 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday June 17, 2025. PROJECT OBJECTIVES CIP 24-05, Fire Station 76 Improvements. The objective is to provide staff with a safe and improved functional space. This requires improvement to the existing structure and adds space to the kitchen, TV room, dormitory, and restroom to areas. To achieve this objective, the Agency is seeking bid proposals from qualified Contractors to provide approximately 432 SF addition and approximately 1330 SF renovation. The selected Contractor shall perform the Work under the general direction of the Public Works and Engineering Department for the Agency and in collaboration with the City’s Engineer, Project Manager, and/or assigned staff. PROJECT SCOPE The Contractor agrees to do all the Work and furnish all the labor, services, materials and equipment necessary to construct and complete the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents, including all work, labor, services, materials and equipment described and reasonably inferable from documents herein. In general, the proposed Scope will consist of renovation to the kitchen, TV room, dormitory, and restroom totaling approximately 1330 SF to an existing fire station and adding approximately 432 SF to the existing facility. This includes improvement to the mechanicals, electrical, plumbing, ceilings, walls, flooring, and other facilities related work as detailed in the plans and specifications. LOCATION OF WORK The project location is 29950 Menifee Road in the City of Menifee. Reference attached map Exhibit A.BID SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS Bids must be submitted electronically via the City of Menifee’s PlanetBids bidding portal at: https://www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=41576 no later than 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025. A hard copy of the entire bid package, including all original notarized documents, must be received within 24 hours of the submittal deadline to be considered responsive to this NIB. If using Federal Express or other such service for bid submittal, the contents of the submittal must be noted on the outside of that envelope as stated above. Bids shall be written clearly and legibly in ink in conformance with the Instruction to Bidders. All bids shall be submitted to the Agency’s front desk in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with "SEALED BID FOR CIP NO. 24- 05, FIRE STATION 76 IMPROVEMENTS - DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL."
