The Town of Leesburg, Virginia (“Town”) is requesting sealed bids from qualified Bidders to provide construction services for the Airport Runway Pavement Rehabilitation project. The awarded bidder, also referred to herein as “Contractor”, shall provide construction services, including, but not limited to partial depth milling (+/- 4”) of existing asphalt, removal of millings, demolition of full depth pavement (stone and asphalt), unclassified excavation, placement of a new federal P-209 stone base, placement of federal P-401 asphalt surface course and grooving finished asphalt on the runway. Also included is the removal and re-installation of existing taxiway lights, installation of conduits, ground wires and power wiring, installation of erosion and sediment control items and pavement markings.
