The ITEC Training Lab and Security Operations Center project is to renovate 2 existing classrooms divided by a demountable wall into an IT Data Center Lab. The IT Data Center Lab will simulate a typical data center mission-critical environment. The IT Data Center Training Lab is a learning space, and will not be connected to mission-critical functions of the College. A third existing classroom will be partially renovated as a Security Operations Center (SOC). The SOC will be designed to reflect centralized spaces where cybersecurity professionals work in teams to monitor and respond to security threats. Trades that will be involved in project: mechanical, electrical, low voltage, finish work vendors (ceiling, flooring, painting, AV, Security)
