Trees and brush must be removed from the jobsite. Stumps shall be removed 6” below ground by grinding. Trees and brush may be burned at the Dongola interchange (Exit 24) or the Shawnee College road interchange (Exit 18). Only the northeast quadrant may be used at the Dongola interchange. The existing drainage ditches shall be maintained at all times. Access to the burn pits will only be allowed from the ramps. After work is complete, the Contractor shall restore all disturbed areas of the interchange infields to original condition including using Class 2 seeding and Mulch Method 2. All work required to restore the disturbed areas, including seeding and mulch, shall be included in the cost of Tree Removal, Acres.
