1. This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to replace existing culvert pipe on Middle Ridge Road & at Dan’s Mountain Wildlife Management Area. The project is located at Middle Ridge Road Rawlings, Allegany County, Maryland 21557. 2. The proposed project shall include but is not limited to the following: a. The installation of construction entrance and the maintenance of erosion and sediment control devices, as required to perform this project, includes bypass pumping. b. The excavation and removal of one (1) 48” Corrugated metal pipe (CMP) approximately 40 LF in length. c. The excavation of the site as required to install one (1) 40 LF, 48” diameter HDPE culvert pipe and install proposed compacted backfill. d. The installation of imbricated stone headwalls on inlet and outlet ends of newly installed culvert pipe. e. The installation of approximately 440 SF of class I Rip Rap (6-12 inches in size) for proposed out fall step pools. NOTE: All costs associated with the installation of the outfall step pool Class I Rip Rap aggregate shall be calculated under Unit Price #1. f. Re-grade and Re-surface approximately 1,500 SF of existing gravel roadway at the location of culvert replacement with CR-6 aggregate. g. Restoration of the site to preconstruction condition, seed and mulch all disturbed areas. Remove all sediment and erosion control devices. h. Removal and proper disposal of all debris off state property.
