Monthly Services 1. Hoist way and doors: ● (i) Clean, inspect, and lubricate Hoist way doors, door operators, and safety edges. ● (ii) Ensure door interlocks and safety devices function properly. 2. Car and Cab: ● (i) Check and replace lighting and elevator buttons in elevator cabs. ● (ii) Inspect cab interiors for wear and damage. ● (iii) Test elevator communication systems, emergency buttons, and intercoms. 3. Mechanical and Electrical Systems: ● (i) Check motor room equipment for cleanliness and operating conditions. ● (ii) Lubricate bearings, pulleys, sheaves, and hoist cables. ● (iii) Inspect for signs of water, tension, and corrosion on hoist cables. (2) Quarterly Services: 1. Control and Power Systems ● (i) Clean and inspect control panels, contractors, and relays for wear or overheating. ● (ii) Test and adjust elevator leveling devices and floor stop accuracy. ● (iii) Perform thermographic inspections of electrical systems to detect overheating.
