Space rental to host a welcome reception for "Fresh From Florida" growers and retailers at the Southeast Produce Council's Southern Exposure trade show at the World Marriott Orlando. Sections 570.07(20)(a), (b), and (c) Florida Statutes, charges the Department with the following: (a) To stimulate, encourage, and foster the production and consumption of agricultural and agricultural business products; (b) To conduct activities that may foster a better understanding and more efficient cooperation among producers, dealers, buyers, food editors and the consuming public in the promotion and marketing of Florida’s agricultural and agricultural business products; and (c) To sponsor events, trade breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners and distribute promotional materials and favors in connection with meetings, conferences, and conventions of dealers, buyers, food editors, and merchandising executives that will assist in the promotion and marketing of Florida’s agricultural and agricultural business products to the consuming public.
