A. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Work Under Unit Price Bid a. Cleaning, obstruction removal, and rehabilitation of approximately 5,200 LF of existing 8-inch sewers using Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP). b. Replacement of approximately 120 LF of existing 8-inch sewer with ductile iron pipe (DIP). c. Point repairs of pipe as indicated in the Drawings and as required to complete indicated CIPP work, even if not indicated in the Drawings. d. Rehabilitation or Replacement of all laterals up to the right-of-way and installation of cleanouts for laterals located along pipes called out for CIPP and otherwise noted in the Drawings. Approximately 1,800 LF. e. Installation of new laterals and cleanouts as indicated on the Drawings. Approximately 150 LF. f. Pre- and post-construction televising of all rehabilitated, replaced, and repaired piping (including laterals), approx. 7,000 LF g. Other supporting work as required, such as traffic control, road reconstruction, bypass pumping, and project signage. h. Abandon in place 385 LF of interconnected lateral segments as a lump sum item. The segments are called out on the Drawings.
